This section contains downloadable documents relative to curriculum and information packets for your students' Religious Education program at Sacred Heart Church.

Grades 1 and 2 have a separate information packet for each grade.

Grades 3-5 are a combined packet.

Grades 6-7-8 include an information packet and one additional handout "How to Read the Bible". Please be sure to download both documents.

Religious Education curriculum/lesson plans - Grades 1-5

Following are the Grades 1-5 curriculum/lesson plans for the Sacred Heart Religious Education Program, 2009-2010 as referred to in our Parent/Student Handbook. They are issued to our catechists and volunteers as a means to facilitate their instruction to the students in our program and to maintain a base consistancy in material presented. Also included in this section is the sacramental curriculum for Grade 2 (Reconciliation & 1st Holy Communion). Hard copies are also available in our office for your review. GRADE 6-7-8 ASSESSMENTS

Annual assessments for grades 6, 7 and 8 will be conducted the week of April 25, 2010. Student study guides are available below to download for your information. Study guides will be available from February 25-April 15, 2010 ONLY. The study guides are the basis for our new review program "Catholic Challenge" and to prepare students for their assessments in April. If you have any questions, please contact the Religious Education Director.
