Volunteer Opportunities and Information

Each year, we are pleased to welcome back a number of our devoted team of program volunteers. Week after week, they make a commitment to instruct our children in the values and doctrines of our Faith. They serve as role models in the religious formation of our children by participating in parish community while encouraging and perpetuating spiritual growth and a solid prayer life. They are dedicated to, and a part of, a quality program for their family.
Wouldn't you like to be a part of this ministry? Because the Religious Education program at Sacred Heart relies entirely on our church community for our volunteers, we always have a number of openings available in all grades for catechists, assistants and aides. All volunteers are required by the Archdiocese of Hartford to complete a VIRTUS "Protecting God's Children" seminar and a background check. Thank you.
