The Sacred Heart Youth Ministry

The Sacred Heart Youth Ministry would like to invite interested students between 7th grade and 12th grade to get involved in their parish through community service and community with others. This opportunity is available to youth in Sacred Heart parish, and from other local parishes. This will be a fantastic opportunity to continue work in the Church after Confirmation, and also to learn the benefits of service before the Sacrament of Confirmation. We will build relationships through group activities, such as games and nights out, and will have time to get to know each other, and get to know God while still having fun!

We invite interested students to join us Saturday, April 18, 2020 from 10:30 - 3:30 to participate in a community service activity as well as go for a hike at Northwest Park in Windsor. Bring your lunch and water and join us for a great day outdoors! There is no cost for this event.

To RSVP, please contact Karissa Stanio, Tommy Fitzgerald, Hannah Grigoriou or Sophie Boulay at:

no later than Wednesday, April 15th at 9:00 p.m.!

(Participants must RSVP prior to attending the event. No late RSVP’s will be permitted due coordinating chaperones/drivers for this event.)

Visit us on Instagram at: Sacredheartyouth_ or on Twitter at SHCyouth or Facebook at SacredHeartyouthCT for updates!

****Permission slips and photo consent form MUST BE turned in at meeting. Forms are below.****

In order for this to be a success, we will need a few parents to volunteer during each meeting to chaperone. Please spread the word and pray for us!

*If you are interested in attending and unable to cover the cost of the outing, please contact Elizabeth Grigoriou directly at the Rectory. This Ministry is open to all students (in grades 7th – 12th) regardless of whether they can afford it and we certainly would like to include everyone! If financial assistance is needed to participate, please know that it will be kept strictly confidential.

**Permission slip for the 2019-2020 year is attached below for student and parent completion.**
